Come to Big Mountain Ciderworks and talk to other locals who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. This will be an opportunity to meet the STEAM Alliance board members and talk with others interested in these topics about what is (or could) be going on in the Flathead Valley.
Stimulates an active student interest in science and engineering, provides an exceptional experience for students through exposure to professional level judges, provides public recognition of talented students for their independent research efforts, and increased public awareness of the importance of science education in our society. Register by February 23rd
The Flathead County Science Fair is for students from Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Bigfork and surrounding areas. Students from 3rd through 12th grade get to explore a topic of their choice, use the Scientific Method to perform experiments or the Engineering Design Process to design prototypes, analyze data, discover science for themselves, and present their results at the Fair.
