Unique Opportunity for Middle School Girls to Learn about Archeology in Glacier
Glacier National Park and Glacier Institute are partnering together to provide a unique opportunity for 6th–8th grade girls interested in science and related fields. During a three-day, overnight camp, partici- pants will learn about Glacier’s cultural resources—specifically the science of archeology. Through sci- ence, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM), your child will learn the importance of cultural resources found and protected within the park and discover stories from the past using archeological methods and tools. Participants will also learn life-long skills in leadership, critical thinking, and prob- lem solving. Space is limited to 12 participants.
